On the 3rd of March 2018, Lekki British School hosted Six Schools in the second week of the Maiden edition of the Dolphin Swimming League. Students from the Lagos team, Greenville School, Lagos Preparatory School, Children International School, and St. Saviours’ School along with Lekki British School, stood as competitors in the tournament. The President of the Nigeria Aquatics Federation, Babatunde Fatayi-Williams as well as officials of the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) led by its chairman, Kweku Tandoh, were present at the inter-school tournament.

    It was a privilege to host and identify with the tournament with hopes that future Olympic medalists are discovered as the Dolphin Swimming league evolves to a much bigger brand, eventually hosting talents from all over the country.

    At the High School level, Lekki British School took the Silver medal with Children International School and Lagos Preparatory School taking the Gold and Bronze medals respectively. At the elementary level, Lekki British School placed 5th with St. Saviours’, Children International School and Lagos Preparatory School placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
