Mr Spring
Deputy head of School
Mr. Spring, a highly accomplished educator, brought a wealth of experience to Nigeria nearly 12 years ago. As former Head of Media and Performing Arts at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College, UK, he led the college to outstanding success, achieving a consistent Grade 1 (Outstanding) rating in seven Ofsted inspections. His responsibilities included overseeing course development, quality assurance, staff appraisal, and development, ensuring high standards across all programs.
With 12 years of experience in Nigerian schools, including an eight-year tenure in Calabar, Mr. Spring’s educational philosophy prioritises individual learner needs, emphasising the role of educators as facilitators of learning. He envisions schools as holistic environments where students grow, explore identities, and find joy. Effective teaching, he advocates, extends beyond classrooms, happening in playgrounds, corridors, and dining areas. Skilled educators equip students with skills for academic excellence and peer interactions, fostering well-rounded individuals. His approach focuses on creating a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Head Of Academics
Mr. Fatai Oyeleye is a highly respected educational leader and mathematics specialist at Lekki British School, where he has dedicated 14 years of exemplary service to academic excellence and student success.
As Head of Academics, Mr. Oyeleye plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic vision and standards of the school, ensuring that high-quality teaching and learning are delivered across all departments. His leadership is marked by a commitment to fostering a supportive, innovative, and results-oriented learning environment.
In his capacity as Head of the Mathematics & ICT Department, Mr. Oyeleye oversees curriculum development, instructional practices, and professional development for staff within the department. He brings strategic insight to integrating Information and Communication Technology into mathematics instruction — enhancing both teaching effectiveness and student engagement in an increasingly digital world.

Head of Pastoral Care
Mrs Patricia A. Ogo is the Head of Pastoral Care at Lekki British School, where she leads the school’s commitment to student wellbeing, character development, and emotional support. With a deep passion for holistic education, Mrs Ogo ensures that every child at LBS feels safe, valued, and equipped to flourish. She oversees a dedicated pastoral team that provides guidance, mentoring, and support across all year groups – from helping students navigate academic pressure and friendships, to building resilience,
confidence, and strong moral values.
Mrs Ogo works in close partnership with students, parents, and teaching staff to create a nurturing school culture built on respect, empathy, and responsibility. She believes that when students feel secure and supported, they achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Under her leadership, the Pastoral Care department champions initiatives that promote mental wellness, anti-bullying, leadership, and personal growth – ensuring that Lekki British School remains a place where students are not just educated but truly cared for
Adefila Adekunle
Head of Studies
Adefila Adekunle is the Science Curriculum Leader and Head of Studies, responsible for driving academic excellence through outstanding curriculum leadership and quality assurance. He champions high standards in teaching and learning, mentors and develops staff, and ensures that students experience a challenging, engaging, and well-sequenced curriculum that enables them to thrive academically and personally.
Mrs Beatrice Omamegbe
Junior School Administrator
Beatrice Omamegbe brings over thirty-five years of experience in education, with a deep commitment to nurturing students through strong academic foundations and sound character development. Her work is guided by a balanced approach that combines educational excellence with effective school management.
She holds a qualification in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), and a Teachers Grade II Certificate.
In addition, she has completed several professional development courses both locally and internationally.
Beatrice is passionate about creating supportive and inclusive school environments where active learning is encouraged and every child is empowered to succeed.
