Security

LBS is fully committed to the safety and security of our students. Consequently, the school is adopting a new multilayered security approach to meet the needs of the current security climate.

This will see the implementation of a fully integrated approach to security, involving collaboration with security agencies, a permanent armed police presence, an intelligence-led international security company providing onsite security, and a state-of-the-art, industry-leading neural CCTV network.

The neural network is an advanced AI monitored CCTV camera network incorporating facial recognition technology and several other advanced security and antibullying features. The AI function will independently alert security personnel to security level incidents or suspicious activity, while also reporting bullying incidents to the Head of Pastoral Care/Safeguarding Lead; all in real-time.

Additionally, the network will incorporate facial recognition cameras into new school-wide access control systems.

Fully deployed, this promises to be one of the most advanced security systems of any school in the world.
